well i used to run in relays ….
first of all make sure you warm up really well. get your muscles warmed up but dont tire yourself out. be sure to do both arm stretches and leg stretches.
when running:
get the fastest two of the four people to run first and last.
when recieving the baton:
start running and pass right to left or left to right, NEVER right to right or left to left. practise passing the baton, as it is the most important. you will also need to come up beside/diagonal each other, and no behind. before the race, make sure everyone on your team knows what to do and that there are no doubts. each missunderstanding or mess up costs you valuable seconds. hold on tight to the baton AND REMEMBER: communication is really important. when you recieve the baton say "got it" or something like that.
when passing the baton:
DONT slow down! and when recieving try and make sure you are running fast so that you dont waste time trying to get to your maximum speed.
everyone on the team must work together and practise together.
Tips for running:
use your arms
stretch out your legs
dont ’sit’ on the ground. feel as if you are flying across it.
think about where you are running to and focus on getting there.
breath in a rhythm that complements your running strides.
*if you have a lot of time in advance to practise, train your hamstrings to snap your legs in quickly. this will help you run faster.
as for the shoes, it doesnt really matter. wear good running shoes with arch support that you feel comfortable in. dont run in skater shoes or high tops (but thats common sense). before you race, be sure to break in your shoes. tie them tight.
thats pretty much all. good luck! remember, its not the shoes that will help you win the race….its you, your team and how much dedication you put in.
i just looked at the shoes. … they arent good running shoes at all. they have flat bottoms and are loose fitted. try something like nike … a propper running shoe!

I need some help finding a good pair of walking shoes.?

I don’t want trail shoes just something I can walk with on the treadmill or outside. OH…and I really don’t want to pay an arm & a leg for them either. Any suggestions?
Depends what you mean by an arm and a leg, and whether you have problem feet or not. Good comfortable shoes are worth paying for if you do. I’ve spent many 12-hour working days on my feet in $30 sneakers. Consider thicker socks for walking, it can make a big difference especially if they’re part wool.Have you tried SAS shoes?

I wanna start parkour but I need some advise :)?

1) is parkour allowed in school.
2) will I attract people if I do parkour
3) will it be usefull when running away from someone
4) should I get k-Swiss ariake shoes

1) schools cannot do anything to stop you from doing parkour as its not a sport its generally just expressing yourself with body movement
2) ive been freerunning ( parkour but with more flips ) for around 2 ish years and i would generally say people take notice of you others think your a dick lol
3) it is the most incredibly useful thing i think you will ever get if u can learn it and yeah especially for getting away from people
4) dont need to ive got a pair of nike high top shoes theyre good enough araike are good generally what u want is just so padding on the bottom of the shoe so it doesnt hurt your foot when it hits the ground
5) generally id just say wear what you want and what is comfiest i freerun in jeans and and a top or in winter jeans top and hoodie whatever u think feels best
I was wondering, does Nike shoes for men run small and also if i take a 10 for k swiss what should get for Nike? The shoes are called Nike Dunk Low Premium iD.
I think they run a little small. In pretty much all the shoes that I wear, I have to get 9.5 but every pair of nikes I have, they are a size 10.
I have about 35 pairs of shoes and the nikes are the only ones I have to wear a 10 in…running shoes, casual, basketball, it doesn’t matter…I always have to buy 10 in nikes
I have a couple pairs of k-swiss that are a half size smaller than my nikes so I would suggest a 10.5 if you wear a 10.
