Ok, I’ve always lived in Cold areas. and I’ve never wore shorts, Not even to the gym. Anyway, I’m working in Corpus Christie, TX and I bought some shorts, Hurley Shorts kind of a white plaid looking short, I have a Hurley Hat that has the ext same pattern.
Anyway, What kind of shoes should I wear with shorts? I feel goofy wearing sneakers. Should I get those low-cut socks, or just wear athletic socks?
or should I just wear flip-flops? I kinda hate flip-flips, I have one mangled toe that I dropped a 2000 lb steel beam on.

Help me out here ladies. Should I go for the K swiss white tennies, which I usually wear, or diversify and get some chuck taylor all stars. I guess my style is a mix of prep with a little bit of punk. I’m in a band to so the chucks might work better for that…. any ideas?

I have a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars, and K Swiss trainers (mine are black however).
I think that if you wear prep with a little punk, All Star would be perfect for you. The band idea would also mean that the All Star trainers would look good.
The K Swiss would still look okay, but All Star trainers would look better! =]
